First Kiss Live + The Taking or The Leaving: Oct 19th

So the new website has finally risen out of the heat of the summer. Head on over to www.brianmcgeemusic.com to keep up with shows, buy merchandise, watch videos and listen to some new tunes. We'll be adding videos pretty regularly, so make sure to keep checking back!

Speaking of videos, here is a new one, courtesy of Steve Shanafelt from Asheville's Mountain Xpress Arts & Entertainment Weekly. Steve filmed me and my buddy Krum busking in downtown Asheville the other day, singing a song called "First Kiss," which happens to be from the upcoming album and also happens to be the first new song up and running in the music player on www.brianmcgeemusic.com. So, check out the video and head over to the site for your first listen!

I've been busy booking shows/tours for this fall in support of my new album The Taking Or The Leaving.  The first of these shows will be at the Pisgah Brewery in Swannanoa/Black Mountain NC opening for the legendary bass player, George Porter Jr, this Thursday, August 12th. Pete James (of The Honeycutters) and I will be playing this show as a duo.

There's also a solo tour booked for October, a full band tour booked for November, and weekend trips around the Southeast, so make sure to check the tour schedule to see if we're coming to your town.  And if we're not, let us know where we should play in your area.

Last but certainly not least, The Taking Or The Leaving will be released on October 19, 2010!!  You can get it on CD or download it -- both of which you will be able to do from my website. AND CD purchases from my site will include free stickers! Can't beat that, right?
